Ingrid Mueller has always been fascinated by the stock market and began her trading career by investing in mutual funds during the 1990s. When the Dot-com bubble burst in 2000 (the NASDAQ peaked at 5132.52 on March 10, 2000), Ingrid suffered the same significant losses experienced by millions of other American investors during this period.
Determined to take control of her financial future and to no longer rely on the opinions and trading decisions of others, Ingrid completed an in-depth course on technical-based trading with Dr. Stephen Cooper, head of the stock division at millionaire investor Robert Allen’s Enlightened Wealth Institute.
A subsequent mentorship under John Miller, who manages his own company, Opportunity in Options in Oxnard, California, made it possible for Ingrid to successfully combine her expertise in technical stock analysis with the leverage of options.
Ingrid’s emphasis on technical trading and options instead of a buy and hold strategy proved fortuitous for her students during the market meltdown of late 2008 and early 2009. Instead of being locked in to plummeting positions managed by others, they were able in many cases to use cash on hand to implement their own decisions and leverage the power of put options to profit from the market’s decline.
Today, Ingrid is a successful options trader in her own right and enjoys a lifestyle that allows her to actively pursue her passion for pottery and painting. She continues her relationship with the Enlightened Wealth Institute as a respected member of the Institute’s tutoring and coaching programs, and also teaches and coaches her own private clients from around the world.
