Be The Observer

January 25, 2010 by

Two days of triple digit declines and the stock market has given back all the gains of the new year.A big week for the sellers makes it very tempting to decide what the market is doing and getting swept up in a tsunami of emotions.

This is the  moment not to follow the crowd  but as always,  be in the position of the Observer. The position of the Observer means we make  our own determinations based on our sound trading principles and plan. We objectively read the Broad Market charts and determine what it is we are looking for this coming trading week. A flat 30 day moving average line on the index charts has us ready for what comes. We know what we need  to go either long or short and awaiting confirmation.
